I camped the Glacier Bear a while back to get a pelt for the Totemic Helm. I didn't find a lot of solid info on this mob so thought I would post what I learned on the chance it can help those considering attempting this camp. The Glacier Bear is used for a Cleric shield quest as well, apparently.

The Glacier Bear spawns in the caves in Everfrost Peaks. I believe the Glacier Bear has 2 place holders each of which are on 7 hour and 20 minute timers. These PHs are both roaming Ice Boned Skeletons. There are many Ice Boned Skeletons in the caves but, only 2 of them roam - these roamers are the PHs. PH 1 spawns at p4930 n3880 in the three-way intersection at the mouth of the tunnel leading to Sulon McMoor (approach Sulon at your own peril as you will almost certainly die). PH 2 spawns at p4385 n3565 in the dead-end alcove just south of the PH 1 intersection. After spawning, the PHs will path counter-clockwise around the inner ring of the caves. Note there is a static Iced Boned Skeleton in the PH pathway however, this static skeleton is not a PH for the Glacier Bear. On live, the Glacier Bear would path clockwise around the outer ring of the caves but, when my bear finally spawned I killed it immediately and did not not confirm it's pathing.
Be aware of the the Lich of Miragul - this tough, highly aggressive Paly epic mob roams the caves and can reportedly outrun SOW however, he is also highly sought after and on a 7 day + var timer. I never saw this mob up during my camp but many people were watching for him. If this mob happens to be up for you I'd suggest you broadcast it to TMO, FE, etc and it will probably be dead within minutes.
This was not an easy camp. I don't know if it is typical or I'm just unlucky but I killed 18 consecutive PHs over 3.5 days before getting the bear. My bear dropped both the pelt and the ignot. Apparently the pelt is a 100% drop but the ignot is not which sucks for the clerics if that is true.
Good luck!
