In 1979 I was still hanging out in my mom's ovary. My Y chromosomes hadn't even enrolled in ballsack school yet. Little did I know they would graduate at the top of their class. It was the last time I was best at anything.

I'm with ya, although we had an Apple //e with a massive 146k disk drive and a Zenith 15" green monitor. Castle Wolfenstein FTW!
I still collect Apple IIs :)

Growing up a friends father worked for IBM. Back in the early 80's they had a PC jr. or something with a ram expansion sidecar....wrapped in tinfoil (supposedly as a heatsink?.) I wish I had a picture of that shit!

IN so much, that I know your Avatar is the Wumpus =).
My mom worked for TI, got one for Christmas. Parsec was way better than Defender.

I get the games working, but anything else is just ridiculously confusing. lol I have a big manual with it though.

I remember them, but we were a Commodore family (Vic-20, C64, +4, etc). Pretty much in that order too. Never got an Amiga back then though, it would have been a hot gaming machine. The C64 kept me busy with decent games though. Loved the sound on it.
