New Warrior/Cleric duo

So my brother and I decided on Dwarf Warrior/Cleric duo. Any advice on armor that we should be taking the time to either camp for a drop, or saving up a small amount of pp to buy in EC on the way to lvl 20? We expect to be wearing rags until about level 20 or so when we can maybe possibly afford to buy something decent. Thanks for any tips in advance.

Banded is cheap and would serve either or both of you well. Also 5ac/55hp rings are a must for anyone under 20. Cleric: Anything + mana, don't worry about Wis just yet. Do your bone chips quest in your newb levels to speed up that painful process of getting meditate. Hunt in CB or orc hill and save your belts and pads, those will make you a decent amount of plat to save for things.

Can't beat this advice. Some players will pay up to 5pp per CB belt. Banded will run you about 1pp per AC. When you outgrow Crushbone, you can move to Lesser Fay and camp the Nybright Sisters for their bronze weapon drops which sell for 3 or 4pp apiece.
Get those 55hp rings for both chars as soon as you can.
