Hello everyone. Like most EQ was my first mmorpg and I missed the ole days back in 1999 i guess so here i am. I decided to try something new this go around with a shaman. Never played one live and i am about to hit level 5. I was wondering. cause my memory seems to fail me these days, where is the best place to catch a port so i can sell some of these polar bear skins in EC so i can buy some armor! Im currently in qeynos trying to remember my way to the bank so i can turn in a quest item i have. Anyways any info will help and maybe ill run into you in game! Oh almost forgot my shaman's name is Urus feel free to say hello if you see me.

North Karana is probably the closest place that regularly gets ported to. If you can catch a druid or wizard there and tell them you're new and trying to get to EC, they would probably help you out.

Tip #24: Don't forget to pick up the noob quest "Quido's Regenerative Rags" where you hail Quido and he gives you a fungi tunic.

just look for the barbarian wearing a cowboy hat on a horse outside of Qeynos...also it's important to know that you need to finish this quest so you can get the next one in line which gives you a manastone, its called "Quido's Pebble Exchange Program." You need to be level 5 to get the dialog.

Big thank you to Elcamino for helping me. Ended up trying to run and got trained in HHP. He came all the way to Qeynos Hills and ported me to EC. Really helped a newb out ;-) Thanks again!
