Breaking into west temple of veeshan the traditional way is very difficult right now due to some issues with the first wurm in the wing, in the hallway immediately following the drop down room. Here are the issues we saw:


His pathing seems to be a little buggy when pulling him into the drop down room. There should be plenty of room to fight him in there but it's pretty difficult to coax him through the door.


Once you do get him into the drop down room, he seems to get stuck in the geometry of the room very easily. We have tried fighting him here twice and the same thing happened both times, resulting in the raid getting summoned outside of the geometry and dying there.

If a developer could take a look at this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all the hard work you guys are doing to get Velious ready!

Pathing in that wing in general is pretty shoddy. Mobs don't like to pass through "weird" stuff (doorways, drops in the floor, etc) and tend to just wander off into walls and stuff.

It's always going to be somewhat buggy pulling a mob that size through a door. In classic you could not even get Doz out of his room (which is why his model was changed later).

This is where players learning and adapting comes in, just like classic. If it continually bugs out, try another strategy ;).
