Need ruby for Mage shovel quest..

Is there any one that would be willing to donate a ruby to the cause? I have all the other items to finish the quest at 13 but require a ruby. Thanks
I also wanted to check something. I had a player tell me and insist that a ruby is worth 2.5k. Seance when has a Ruby evey been worth 2.5k or any where close to 100p..?

You can figure between 200 to 300 plat on average total for each focus item if you are prudent and have half decent Cha.

I found them on the gem vender in 3rd gate , or at least she has them listed at 130+ p but there are none available. Is this a refresh item you think?

Well I had at least 10p more than what they wanted and the "BUY" button wasn't active to make the purchase. Odd
