Opt out of Rants and Flames

There is now an option in the user CP (http://www.project1999.org/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions) to opt out of Rants and Flames. It will hide the forum from the forum list and won't show any threads from it in searches.

You can ignore vBulletin users by adding them to your ignore list:

Click on the user's name,
Click on View Public Profile,
Click on User Lists (dark blue bar under under icon)
Click on Add to Ignore List.

Splitting off shitty personal attack posts is better than nazi-mod deleting them imo. Freedom of speech and all that. That's just my take on it!

This would be nice! Also it's been mentioned before but if instead of opting out of RnF, people had to opt in to see them it might do well for the community in the long run! Just a thought.

There should be an option to opt out of the PvP rants and flames forum also (and a sticky about it should be posted in pvp server chat).

I remember classic RnF, and this new one looks relatively tame. Maybe that's due to a nostalgic emulator attracting older players. Heck, I wasn't a kid when I played this game the first time.
