Last update they were still trying to figure out the rules set. They haven't announced that yet, so I dunno wtf is going on. I guess you can still tweak resists, melee range etc without knowing rules, so I suppose SOME work is getting done.

Since Nilbog's house blew away in a tsunami, I imagine they want to delay the server launch till him and Rogean can inspect it and make sure it's actually somewhat representative of EQ classic PvP. It all depends on what the vision for the server is. Is it going to be based on EQ classic PvP or just some random guy's arbitrary version of what they think is balanced? Nobody has really said what this server is supposed to be.

I imagine since the word P1999 will probably be somewhere in the title, it would be the first option and they want to make sure Null doesn't go crazy while nobody is looking and be like:
