Eh, mob speed increase on a server(might just be the game idk) where lag makes you not be able to hit em often on the run isn't a good idea imo.

mob movement/flee speed is accurate to live during this era. People forget that snare was extremely necessary back in Classic, Kunark, and Velious.

Having bagfuls of root/snare clickies on a pure melee toon in order to reach lvl3 wasn't necessary back in Classic, Kunark, and Velious.

Granted the runspeed was a wee bit slow here, or the flee didn't start soon enough, but as this stands right now this just can't be right. This chap (http://www.project1999.org/forums/showpost.php?p=637116&postcount=33) sums the problems up well enough. Try out some troll SK in swamps, fought a kobold to flee hp, it runs, no chance of landing hits as it does, it regens to start fighting again, repeat cycle until lucky. I enjoyed leveling melee toons back in the days, and if it indeed consisted 90% of chasing around low hp mobs pingponging around the newbie area until they'd get KSed by Zimbittle, I doubt I would've enjoyed it as much.
