Yeah fuck micro transactions...ruining a bunch of games, but without a F2P incentive nobody will be drawn to anything anymore. We're just a minority :(

should watch some cal-i or tournament videos. CS skill cap doesn't even compare to modern fps games. its on an entirely different level.

counter-strike, quake, starcraft games with both the highest skill ceiling and highest skill floor imo as far as competitive games go and are therefore the most respectable

I can agree with this since point and click is a staple of any fps. Although you may not have the twitch skill coming from bf series, you do get ace pilots, drivers etc. competitive or not that shit takes real skill.

But yeah cs/quake > other fps games for skill.
