Monk Hand to hand skill
 

So curious question, my hand to hand is at 235 and im tyring to lvl but its colored red? not sure what this means or why it hasnt lvled? im lvl 55 and hasnt went up in a while.

You were probably 56 and de-leveled. Skills turn red when you are not the proper level to use them.

i havnt been 56 yet, so cant be that. still not sure whats goin on

I don't think you are high enough to raise it anymore yet is why it is Red. :D

It's always been my understanding that a red skill is one which has a higher value than is permitted at your level. From memory, losing a level to xp-loss is about the only reason I have ever seen it happen, but maybe they tweaked the exact skill-caps for each level and you are now a little too high.

The red skill values are just a client UI bug, don't worry about it.

I am a level 60 monk with 245 red capped hand to hand and know several 60 monks with various creation dates that are capped at 252.

I've been assured this is merely a visual issue and does not affect actual gameplay
