SimCity 5

Anyone playing? Drop your handle and I'll add you.

EA dropped the ball with Sim City 5 because of its OTT anti-piracy shit (1000s of legit owners of the game couldn't log in for a few days to authenticate a genuine copy)... "EA" is a reason not to buy any EA games.

Bought BF3, loved it, great game with tons of potential. If I ever sold it, the buyer would have had to give £8 ($12) to EA to be able to play on their servers. It's greedy shit like that ruining the gaming industry.

I'd play Sim City 5 if it wasn't for EA being a bunch of moronic money suckers.

EA, Capcom, and Games for Windows Live.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

If a steam game says it ALSO requires a games for windows live ID for online play, I would advise against buying it. Most if not all console ports by EA/capcom are just complete trash. This also, ironically, applies to games for WINDOWS live.

For example: On release of the dark souls pc version (a games for WINDOWS live title) not only could you not run any higher than 1280x720 resolution but....but...but....

THE GAME WAS UNPLAYABLE WITH A KEYBOARD AND MOUSE!!!!!
