Running/Cardio

Got back on the routine tonight. First run in 3 months after the Winter made it tough around here.

Got in a 3 mile run @ a 10m pace...I just got into running earlier last year and at my peak I was able to do sub 8 minute miles pretty conistently over 4+ miles. Looking forward to getting back into it.

Post run I feel amazing and it makes everything else in my life better.

Any other runners around?

No I swim because of reasons

I tried to run over the summer while I was in between jobs. It’s not an easy thing to get back into after not running for years.

Props on the 3 miles.

I'm a runner, and winter is a bitch where I live, too. Keep at it, warmer days are ahead. And remember to embrace the pain!

I like to run from the oasis to qeynos through the karanas.

I enjoy swimming more than running and I don't wanna hurt my jointies

Swimming is pretty awesome.

It's great for fatties because they don't have to support their own weight! It also involves a lot of different muscle groups and you can change

The bothersome thing is finding a place or time where the lanes aren't clogged with other human beings.

The advantage of running is you don't have to suffer such invasion of personal space.

What technique do people step with? heel or toe?

My pre-workout is running a mile on the treadmill. I cramp up bad if I don't, I've tried stretching but running before hand works best for me. I'm seriously looking forward to warm weather so I can get back in the groove.

Walking is better on the joints though.
