Intentionally Going Over Monk Weight Cap?
 

Hey all,

Right now I'm wearing some golden wrist bracelets, +5 Str +3 Dex. I have the money to buy the silver chitin arm wraps (15AC 7Str 7Dex 40hp). These items will put me over the weight cap by about 5 lbs.

I know for sure that my AC will increase. 5 lbs of penalty is a lower AC drop than the 30+AC I gain from the wrists. So, my questions is, is there some other reason I should be afraid of going over the penalty (some hidden -avoidance penalty)? Or, should I go over the penalty and gain 80hp?
