jboots scaling with lvls?
 

since when? thought it was automatically 18 mins for 1-60... at lvl 1 atm it lasts 3 mins

I noticed this using an ivandyr hoop on red as a lvl 1.

It didn't do the full damage but scaled it wayyyy down.

The hoop shoulda done the minimum value for the drain instead of like 28 dmg.

Same with jboots/sow boots etc.. should give the minimum value but not use the scalar value in a negative way.

IMO something minor but worth mentioning if we're going for perfection.

I think the onus is on you to find evidence that it did infact not scale. And good luck on that. Level 1 J Boots are a symptom of 3 year Kunark.

It's the same deal with SoW potions. Once level 10 or something you get full duration, below that you get crap duration. Just level up 10 levels and it's NP.

Red isn't classic. It has OOC that is server wide, and an exp bonus that is stupidly unclassic. Atleast it used to, I hear that's fixed now.

Daldaen one could argue blue isn't classic either. Most of P99 is custom in fact. But lets not argue over petty things mmmmk? Red simply has a smaller player base with more hardcore neckbeards making it easier to accomplish certain things rather then fight with a few hundred people who you can't actually pvp so you have to resort to other things like being nice.

Either way I never noticed jboots having a lesser duration, But I don't really remember looking at the timer on any of the characters I put them on under level 10 since they passed it so quickly. Anyway if stuff is supposed to scale or not scale, lets take a look at pegasus cloak and why its 12 minutes instead of 18 or whatever the level 60 cast is and go from there.
