<Ragnarok>
Ragnarok is a high end Red99 guild with a focus on casual but efficient play.
Formed around the most successful guild core in P99 history, Ragnarok was created to rejuvenate the Empire community and bring everyone together to kick it with pals and slay dragons. We also love to stomp out anyone who comes between us and said dragons.
Our goal this time around is to improve upon the massive success we had as Holocaust and Empire. What this means is streamlining as much guild function as possible and reducing the overall time spent raiding per week. Once settled, we hope to only “officially” raid a few days a week during US prime time, but still knock out the targets we want to kill.
The question(s) that everyone has been asking: “Is this for real?”, “Why return after you woke the Sleeper?” It’s simple. No game brings everyone together like EverQuest. The goal of an EQ guild is to ultimately defeat your enemies and acquire pixels, however the goal of Ragnarok is to also bring everyone together to hang out and have some laughs. Over the past year, a lot of us have realized how much we miss hanging with each other – so here we are back in our favorite game.
Another concern is “What’s stopping you from quitting again?” This one is simple as well. We no longer have an end goal. We no longer need to wake the Sleeper to cement our legacy on Red99. We are back with a more efficient approach to prevent burnout and foster a community that will hopefully be around for a very long time. We are here to just… play.
Lastly – “Is this guild some sort of cross promotion for the upcoming addition to the Thor movie series?” Yes.
In the end, we definitely plan to shake up Red99 like we always have in the past – so we hope to see you on the battle field – with or against.
