Shadow knight Epic (Innoruuk's Curse), Faction question
 

Faction question regarding Shadowknight Epic Innoruuk's curse.

I noticed the epic quest seems to involve a faction mechanic using Truespirit, possibly similar to the shaman epic.

Like the shaman epic, is it possible to skip some steps by grinding faction or even using invis/feign death?

As far as I can tell all the first step (in Overthere) seems to achieve is an increase in faction and a plat/item sink?

The only things you can skip are the ones in the beginning (the darkforge armor turnin/fight, the cough elixir and the rat dusty tome) and have nothing to do with the faction. All your turn-ins for the epic you have to be indifferent to the mob. Initially you start apprehensive to them, but as you progress with your epic you'll become indifferent so you won't need to hide/IVU after putting in the items in the trade window.
