Why is everyone scared of pvp
 

PVP just adds an extra aspect to an awesome game? why dont you guys wanna play on the pvp server.... we need some more peeps.. tell your friends.. its already fun.. but this is the best game ever.. even the best pvp game.. so come faqs with us.. we need more people... tallon zek, rallos zek vallon zek.. where you at?

I don't enjoy PVP in EverQuest because it seems like it was added to the game as an afterthought and thus lacks real balance between the various classes in given scenarios. Also, when compared with a newer MMO the penalty for death in EverQuest is steep and so dying from other players sounds too time consuming to me. I also already have a character on the blue server.

Yeah What Happened to the PVP server POP?

Didn't all those people say it would have just as many if not more people to play on it the p1999 ?

Actually I enjoyed the "Make you lol" thread and retract my statement

I think I believe the "if you log onto red, you will have 10 people beat you down before you hit go" rumors a bit to much. Plus, I'm not interested in fighting other people enough to test if those rumors out.

Mostly, it's just not my thing.

I am not scared of PvP.
I am annoyed by it.
EQ classes are not balanced right to to handle fair PvP
I enjoy pvp in team vs team battles in FPS games (UT Onslaught missions), but in EQ it just doesn't work right

Seems like the Devs are putting a lot of time and energy into the PVP server, its lack of popularity doesn't justify all their efforts in my opinion. Their precious time is better spent elsewhere.
