Summoned pet should not despawn if see invis is active
 
I just noticed this playing. Does anyone have an EQ Mac account to test this out and post confirmation?

(See invis is active on pet that is)

Erm wait a minute on this one.

Test on EQ Mac.. not sure :P.

I think this was only during classic but maybe not into Velious. Kringe recalls this as well as Huff.

I recall this very early in classic but I couldn't say for sure. Here is a thread from 2004 with people talking about how they wish this was possible (suggesting that it wasn't before the 2004 patch that allowed all pets to see invis).

"I wish that with the zoning pets they would allow us to cast see invis on pets and have them not disapear, as now you can get them buffed and take them with you, having to invis to run through say FV or something just really makes it sad when someone has buffed your pet (despite you not asking) and then you have to kill it with invis."

Yeah I saw that stuff in my lookings... I found something saying that the air pet used to give you see invis..

I found this which comes up in the google search but the page is no longer reachable

Yeah the necro pets you could safely summon in the necro guild but not take elsewhere in the cities. I clearly recall this... evidence would be awesome... still digging.
