Wolfshead June 9, 2020 Culture, MMORPGs No Comments

Not only did Brad McQuaid help to create the genre defining EverQuest MMORPG, he had an extensive interest in comic books and amassed a vast collection.

He loved comic books so much that he teamed up with the legendary DC comics artist Jim Lee to create an EverQuest: Ruins of Kunark comic book released in December of 2001.

Timeless Estate Sale Services recently contacted me and asked if I knew anyone that would be interested in Brad McQuaid’s entire comic book collection. Naturally, I agreed to help spread the word.

Brad’s vast collection of high quality 700+ rare comics includes Action Comics, Superman, Shazam, World’s Finest, Marvel Superheros, Flash, Daredevil, The Mighty Thor, X-Men, Strange Tales, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel, The Incredible Hulk and much more. Most of the comic books in high quality condition and bagged with Mylar or plastic.

There are also many more unopened boxes of comic books and graphic novels available for viewing.

Timeless Estate Sales Services are representing the McQuaid family in the sale of Brad’s MicroNaut and MicroMan collection. The have requested have to let only serious buyer view the collections.

The collections will be able to be viewed at the McQuaid home in Carlsbad, CA before June 14, otherwise they will be able view them at Timeless Estate Sales Services located Fallbrook, CA after June 15.

If you are a serious collector and wish to purchase the entire collection, please contact Timeless Estate Sales Services to make an appointment.

Calling Jim Lee a DC artist. Pfft...

He'll always be defined by his time with Image Comics.

Pretty sexist cover art, makes you wonder about his devious side

Jim Lee will always be the artist of Claremont's Blue and Gold X-Men Reboot for Marvel.
Then he left and created Image Comics.
In my eyes, X-Men and Jim Lee are intertwined for life.
