Bear-Hide Cape
 

The bear-hide cape quest (Bear Hide Armor) quest from Chanda Miller in Qeynos Hills appears to be a little broken. I handed in 21 gold and 1 High Quality Bear pelt and received 2 copies of the Bear-Hide boots, instead of the cape. Handing in 1 Medium Quality Bear pelt and 15 gold awarded the correct boot item.

A wiki page mentioned that you can turn in solely the gold pieces to receive the items, but I have not tested that.

It's a newbie quest, but it should be fixed.

quest npcs keep items that you give them. If someone gives him too many bear pelts or too much gold, you'll get those rewards once you complete the turn in.

She didn't work right for me either but it wasn't the cape it was the boots. I gave her 15 gp and a medium quality bear skin and she said she "needed the other things too."

This happened to me the other day. This is how the rewards are supposed to be given:

Bear-hide Boots - 15 gp and Medium Quality Bear Skin,
Bear-hide Cape - 21 gp and High Quality Bear Skin.

For me, the MQ skin and 15 gp yielded the Cape and HQ skin and 21gp got me the boots.

I turned in 15 gp and medium quality skin and got the cape and the needed other things text. Someone is screwing up the turn in and it's giving out whatever has been piled up I think.

This should work better after next patch.
