Pet Attack
Sorry if this is on the forums already. I searched (as well as Google) but when I have my skeleton pet attack a mob, if I then tell it to attack another mob, it won't attack the new mob until it kills the one it is currently fighting. Even if I tell it to follow me to stop attacking, it keeps attacking. Is there some trick to this or is that just the way it is?

Pet attack - pet attacks target
pet back - pet stops attacking and either returns to guard spot or to owner pet follow - pet follows owner pet guard here - pet stays at location, and when you tell pet to back, it will go to this location pet sit - pet sits down, but if you say pet back, it will follow owner. If you tell pet to attack target A, it will attack target A until it is dead, or you say to pet back. If you tell pet to attack target a, then pet attack target b, it will attack A until it is dead, then go to B. What you want to do is /pet attack A... /pet back.../pet attack b |

Can help the pet with root or tank the mob yourself shortly. Might have to spam the /pet back hotkey. |

What can make this more fluid is setting up a button to cycle through targetable NPCs So, you can back the pet off, press tab (or whatever key) and re-engage the pet quickly. ...and remember, the pet might switch back again if mob A is still hitting him ^^ |
Yeah I have tab set to cycle through mobs.
Then I made a hotkey: /pause 1, /pet back /pet attack another hotkey I use to keep a pet from returning to combat instantly when you want them to follow you is.. /pause 1, /pet back /pet follow |
