Remember that guy who was banned on blue for leveling fast in kunark?

The rivervale plat exploit is a similar situation but I have not heard about bans.

Excuse me if this has been discussed, and I don't want to seem like I don't appreciate everything the devs do, because I do. It is just that I prefer a consistent enforcement of rules. When something like this happens, it concerns me.

Obviously, it could just be the devs are discussing what to do about it.

I don't know the whole situation, but I know the quest was removed or changed. If this is the case, then why not the same reaction when this already happened? Flooding plat at this early of a stage is far more damaging to the health of a server over one guy leveling through the early 50s fast as fuck because he spent tons of time preparing for it.

I agree. Wipe it clean.

Wipe it all? I guess that's the best solution. I'd say do it on a weekday at like 3 am, too.

Cwall 11-21-2011 03:11 AM

did someone say wipe?

Uthgaard alread posted saying they could find out who did the quest, and where the plat went.

Guess *someone* would have to do something about it though .... Uthgaard would already be cooking their eyeballs on a skillet.

tsaC 11-21-2011 03:48 AM

Just wanted to clarify, I know its been addressed. I have no idea what happened to the person(s) doing the quest, nor the plat.

Darksinga 11-21-2011 05:08 AM

tried doing that quest as a elf and I got like 9 gold each time only <.>

I heard as halflings you would get 10 plat a pop though. Tbh, there were 100+ people doing it, so highly doubt anything is going to happen.
