samsung galaxy note

Does anyone have one of these?

I really like it so far. 5.3" screen giant phone.

At the time of purchase, Otterbox didn't have a release so I purchased this Seido case. It works fine and has a belt holster. Does anyone have an Otterbox Defender that could give a yes/no review for possibly upgrading?

This week I'll be placing an order for an OTG adapter and USB devices.

If anyone has a galaxy note and has purchased an OTG cable, or usb devices:

-Which ones did you buy? Were they all compatible?
-Have you tried the unofficial Ice Cream Sandwich release? Should I?

Ultimately I'd like the option of using it as a mini pc including keyboard and mouse like this fellow.

If you own a DLNA device, I highly suggest BubbleUPnp. It works great as a renderer, or as a universal remote for dlna. I have a wdtvlivehub, and it streams 1080p with no difficulty.

that makes me grit my teeth, the note is a overhyped phone. The processor in it is completely inadequate for the screen. Compare it to the Skyrocket when sliding between screens and you'll see the lag in the Samsung Note. The Note is also not compatible with alot of apps that work on all other android devices. You do get a big screen and its thin for the size, I'll give you that.

That being said, I'd rather hold out for an Asus tablet when they finally make an LTE model, and keep my phone as a phone.

Thankfully, I only make/receive 2-3 calls a day and forget about it being a phone most of the time. I used IPhones since 2008, and I'm not going back to apple. Apparently, I don't use any apps. :P For my purposes, I use it as a 5.3" browser window, 1080p video recorder, and gigantic texting device.

Hey I have the Galaxy Note: had it for 6 months now. I will never go back to normal sized screen size.

Also Galaxy Note 2 is touted for release in october if that helps. Apparently it has a 5.5" screen too.
