So i was off in lower guk to do a bit of farming before I had to head off to shoot pool tonight/yesterdrday. i was holding the supplier camp waiting for the AM camp to open, which at the time was held by falsegod. I talked to falsegod and established I would be next for the camp without issue and we chatted about other things as well.

Around the same time Azleep showed up looking to score a mask for their rogue at the sup camp. i told him that I would be leaving the sup as soon as falsehood had left the AM, and he was planning to leave the camp pretty much any minute.

The screenshots show are what followed as falsegod logged off and I went to take the came, and two asshats from kingdom -- Sensational and Treleaf showed up.

the TLDR version is the guild leader of kingdom is a piece of shit. instead of diffusing the situation he appears to have tried exacerbating it on top not knowing some of the basic tenets of the PnP while claiming "I should read them".You can see in the first set of screenshots where he makes a veiled threat of them keeping the camp, and then later Sensational lets it slip that his guild leader had actually told them to hold the camp, not leave it. Busted.

Things to be noted:

The guild leader was given 100% clear, factual information on the situation without any attitude or flourish. He was also given a neutral party to contact if he had any issue with the information given. These issues here are not any of the "grey" areas/rules. The rules about changing over camp ownership via a camp list is cut and dry and impossible to misinterpret.

Robotard made no effort to contact azleep, nor did his two asshat guildmates. Maybe his little brother stole his account and was playing it? Does that still work these days?

i'll be back with more to say later but hitting the sack now. And if you want to talk any shit, do it with your real green name.

You were actually in the wrong, also the one to be extremely rude and uncooperative in the matter.

For a list to work and the camp to be handed off to you, falsegod should have stayed logged in for when you get there.

Wrong, mister mysterious-- who hasn't made a post in 6 months but out of the blue decides to post in this thread:

"This person cannot change after the camp holder has "revealed" the next person to take the camp to you. It is an automatic forfeit if this occurs. If you ask to be the next camp holder and are told yes, the camp holder may not later retract or change this agreement and attempt to hand the camp off to someone else - it's yours once he has gotten his item or moved on from the camp."

The citation from the Elf Lore is as such:

"The person handing off the camp must stay at the spawn until the next person in line arrives" - The Wise Derubael (Ret.)

If you really want the camp you need to stay close to it. If you forsake that for the convenience of holding another camp while you wait, then you depend on the other player to be there for the handoff. That's the risk you assume. If something happens to them and you're right there, you're golden. If you're far away and they leave quietly for some reason, the camp is up for grabs.

Assume you log into a dungeon zone. You see a popular camp open and cleared. You call out CC and no one answers. The assumption is that the last person cleared the camp and logged off. Or that he was trained out. Or he went linkdead. You take the camp.

Personally, if I'm waiting for a camp I will answer their CC if they immediately don't. Like I'll say "Bubba has AM and I'm next" if Bubba is quiet for some reason.

The Elf Court rules for Sensational and party, et al.

Falsegod never revealed who was next in the camp to anyone but the poster. After falsegod even left the poster never maintained a presence at the camp

Are you saying OP lied about talking to falsegod? He said they already established he was next for camp. You don't need to maintain a presence. Next pargraph:

Something else important to note about handing off camps - in particular, popular ones, but this applies to any camp that becomes contested. If you are solo camping, once you attain the item you were waiting for (an AC ring, for example) you are done camping that mob. The person coming to take the camp had better be prepared at this point in order to come eliminate the very next placeholder spawn in order to "stake his claim" on the mob.

CC is 100% meaningless. Even if it wasn't, there are no timestamps on any of this stuff. You are just making shit up at this point, but i think we know what guild you are in.

Roleplay this out for me:

You, DMN, log into Lower Guk near the AM spawn.

You scratch your balls (I'm making assumptions but bear with me) and you yawn and you notice the AM camp is clear.

You do a /who

You call out "CC".

No one answers.

You look around the corner.

No one there.

No one even close.

You sit down and wait for the pop.

Three minutes later player X shows up and says "AM is mine. Player Y who was here before gave it to me."

Player Y was not in the zone when you did your /who.

Do you yield?
