I sure hope it IS a joke. If you want to donate money to the aspca, just do it, dont try to guilt trip others into paying you virtual money before you do it.

I don't understand why people think this is so weird. Businesses do this sort of thing all the time, "a portion of every sale goes to charity X." It's a way for the business to donate to a charity but use it as a promotional tool as well. What is a tradeskiller but an eq business.
