I would like to add, that my chanters WTYH does infact NOT always last for it's full duration, most likely due to mobs periodic resist check, whatever you may say.

I agree with this. Although the shorter durations are usually 1-3 seconds shorter, not very short stuns. If I chain cast wtyh about 1 in 3 spells breaks right as I recast, others right before it lands.
