Example:
If you are wearing nothing except two +65 HP Rings, your total +HP from raw HP gear is 65+65=130.
If you ever zone with under 130 HP, all of your buffs will be stripped.
This is correct for EQ Mechanics until 2003, when it was removed. It works nicely to remove a DoT that would otherwise kill you by zoning over at low HP.
What I'd suggest is keep track of the magic number your gear provides in raw HP and be aware of that number when zoning.
