Protection of the Cabbage quest was one of the cooler additions to the game (for me personally).
In terms of an event, perhaps it's something similar to PotC- gather a bunch of items made by gm-level tradeskillers that have to be turned in to a series of temporary-spawning NPCs in hard-to-get-to locations.
