Connection issues - wireless
I just got a new laptop for chilling and playing EQ on the couch and got it up and running quickly ... but now I'm having some strange issues with my connection.
Specifically what I see is I will suddenly show a 'lost' connection. If I quickly disconnect from my wireless network and reconnect to it everything continues to work fine. This is a huge pain though as it does it as frequently as every few minutes at times (although sometimes I can be good for an hour or more).
I've tried updating drivers, resetting router, flush dns so far.
When the connection does drop I notice one other interesting behavior. I can still browse to some websites (such as Facebook and Google searches) but not others (such as project1999.com and hotmail.com). This is of course until I disconnect/reconnect and then all works as normal.
Does anyone have any clues as to what is up with my connection? Other wireless devices on the connection don't seem to be running into issues.
