I found this forum post that gives advice on how to raise defense skill as a cleric:

A few mentioned you could pull an entire zone and then use DA or DB and it would skill up your defense.
My question is this:
Do higher level red conning mobs give a greater chance of increasing your defense skill per hit? Should I run into a high level zone like burning woods, collect every mob in a circle like bards do and run next to a zone out, pop DA/DB and then zone out? Or should I just do it in a safe place with lots of light blues and blues?
