Bout to be boarding in Big Bear when I get off this deployment! Some points, yes it does look dangerous and just because your leg cant reach it doesn't mean you could slam down off a jump real hard, and your hand gets sliced open by it. Also what would make it something you could see in any board shop would be if it just like tied onto your binding, or something. no mounting bracket. The Path of least resistance! I could totally see that working. I'm with the other dudes on how much weed, and smell proof dat sheeit xD Awesome idea though, and I could see it being useful. I still bring my backpack doe, cause my backpack is a camelback ^_^.. or Beer-back
