Did a quick search on wineq turned up almost nothing. If we have to update it, how is it done? I think most of us downloaded the wine package and followed the steps. So kinda clueless at this point on how to update it.

I think he meant Wineskin.app (inside Project 1999.app) needs to be updated. I used
Wineskin Winery to update it. The engine I updated to: WS9WineCX11.2.0 with the wrapper: Wineskin 2.5.8. After updating these two things and launching Project 1999.app it worked just fine again.
