I was thinking about that as well.. I think back when duck interrupting wasn't a feature, it wasn't possible to sit during a spell cast (You got the message that you can't do that while casting).

its currently bugged on p1999 - clicking the spell book icon (the one connected to the spell bar) circumvents that "is player casting?" check
