Wu's Quivering Staff is a 2hb weapon that has a pretty sweet dmg/dly ration of 23/28. You can pick one up for 100-150p no problem. From there, maybe as many Wu's armor pieces as you can find and fill in the rest with better stuff? Also, 5ac/55hp rings are going to make a huge difference at early levels.
