Game Mechanics: Worn See-invis not recognized by /target or /rt

As labled, Worn see invis items do not work when attempting to /target or /rt an invisible target, but the clickable/castable/spell buff see invis does.

You can test this by using only a worn See-invis and attempting to /target an invisible player.

Even though the player is plainly visible with ( ) appended to their name, and targetable by a direct click, /target and /rt will not function correctly unless you give yourself a "buff" see invis.

Bump, can anyone confirm I'm not crazy? Had a friend check as well (with the same results) but could still be an isolated/client side thing maybe?

Was told of this bug yesterday. Asked for a sow from someone and they couldn't target me with hide/sneak even though they had a see invis item.

also self checking with hide races could only be done with /tar and if it failed, hide was successful, regardless of SI or not.

Regardless of what you feel is classic or not, the mechanic is working in two distinctly different ways at the same time.

You shouldn't be able to target with casted See Invisible either.

Fixed a bug that wouldn't allow a player to target an invisible PC or NPC with the F7 or F8 keys even if they had See Invisible up.

Looks like a 7-8 month into Velious patch allows targeting of in is players with /tar command
