Crime in general, or just violent crime? If you're talking crime in general, I'm pretty sure they would be close to equal. If you're talking violent crime, I'm sure they would still be pretty equal since last time I checked, spousal and child abuse is considered a violent crime.

Of course YOU would feel more safe walking through a run down trailer park full of white trash river rats. But I'm sure a black person would feel more safe walking through an inner city housing project.
