shaman epic question

One step closer now. I was in mistmoore yesterday and a 60 mage shouted that he was killing adviser and the black dire and asked if anyone needed his pelt. I was the first to reply so i got it. So not i'm warmly with true spirit faction and have my shield boots and this silly broken arrow. Just need some more faction, tear and at least 16 more levels and i'll have my epic! Not holding my breath on a tear though.

I solo'd black dire with a 60 paladin recently. It's velious now, this mob should be super easy for anyone to kill.

What the OP should be asking is should they start on their epic or how much is it going to cost buy their pieces for their epic?

So i just recently started on p99 and was wondering at what lvl i could feasibly start my epic. The reason i'm asking is because I am a true lvl 19 noob to the server and have no decent gear besides the beetle stinger someone was nice enough to sell to me for 42 plat. I am mainly wanting the shield and maybe the boots for now. I know the spear will come much later.
