Returning 31 Necro

So I decided to reinstall P99 and jump into the game on my level 31 necro. I quickly realized I haven't played this game seriously in years and I have no idea what I'm doing. I've looked over some of the necro guides but I'm having trouble with camp availability and specifically that halfling druid in misty keeps kicking my ass when trying to kill the guards. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to do a cash camp if at all possible so I can pick up a pair of Jboots.

My gear is nothing special but decent enough for a necromancer, from what I remember you can basically play 1-60 naked, but I still seem to be getting my ass handed to me due to resists and adds etc.

Any basic gameplay tips that I might be missing?
