It was nerfed on live, then later reinstated. Not in our timeline tho.

this due to firepots. There are still some people on p99 who are bound at firepots. Despite it no longer being possible to bind a character there. As per live at the time.

Honestly the firepot have been replaced with DaP. We can get you anywhere you want to go most times of the day. Bind in WC or RV depending on class.

Ah, that makes sense. I knew I could bind there on live right around luclin/pop timeline.

Td binding was disabled to prevent people from traveling silly fast, thereby shrinking the size of the world and rendering port classes less useful. then, in all their wisdom, they made PoP books to do the exact same thing. didnt need to not bind in TD anymore.
