You understand that a french newspaper spends a lot more energy on french events then european matters, then basically world stuff that affects french, then the rest..?

That seems like basic logic to me.

That said it took me 30 seconds to find more in depth stuff, like

like ok cool we could distribute patient care better with socialized medicine than a capitalistic system. what nobody considers is how none of these socialized medicine countries can sustain the level of medical research the USA provides for them, let alone really any without injected money from our capitalistic system.

so basically we could do a bit better providing medicine already available under a socialized system, but then the government essentially owns your body & health and most medical research halts. that AIDS cure that's like 6 years off from the market? yeah that wouldn't be happening if we were Sweden. remember that shrek-eli dude who bought a wu tang album and went viral because liberals hated him so much for driving up the cost of toxoplasmosis medicine? yeah he's like the only person on the planet developing gen 2 medicines for rare diseases that aren't neurotoxic like current 1910's era hackjob era medicines currently used.
Most foreign research is in collaboration with US companies, luckily, and a lot of those projects are research on major diseases like cancer, alzheimers, antibiotics, or what stem cells can do for regenerative medicine. Dick pills and new opiates aren't considered worth while to a lot of firms, but they have huge market potential for firms in the USA; it's where that research money gets spent is the differing factor. What baffles me is that people have and perpetuate a notion that medical science is somehow better and different in the USA than else where which is more an indicator that marketing and PR methods work.

It's not free because of the individual mandate, at the moment. I'm waiting for the introduction of language into the GOP's bill that will allow insurers to financially penalize anyone who has not had continuous health insurance coverage. Either way will still create artificial demand for health care and drive up costs to consumers.
It's in and pretty horrific. Miss a payment and have a lapse in coverage= wait 6 months to qualify again and they can charge you 30% more in premiums for a year.

you're proving my point where do you think the financing and marketability comes from [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] this is largely done to circumvent us medical research laws and regulations why do you think Kazakhstan's medical industry/whole economy exists?

Wasn't refuting, obviously, but wasn't gonna let that dick pill research fall to the wayside as a critique of US medical research which is based on profit potential and not care.

Damn. Welp the mandate is still in y'all, so the GOP is as feckless as the dems on this one. Who's surprised?
