Default New lift routines help me out

ive been in the gym for almost 2 years now went from 325 lbs to 270 when i started benching my max was like 100lbs 1 or 2 times now im right at 300 my shoulder press when from like 65 pounds to 265 4 times my squats went from like 135 to 405 now im at a peak i dont know if i should try to cut down to 245 and lean up or just keep bulking

( please no steroid comments ive done all this with just water protein and pre workout )


little help would be nice

It depends on what your goals are. Are you going for mass, strength, athleticism, etc.. A few years ago, before the fire academy, I weighed 140 lbs and was weak as shit. I lifted heavy (with low reps) and ate like a horse and am currently up to 185lbs.

I actually just started crossfit with some buddies from work and I feel so out of shape. It's a whole different ball game.

yea thats a problem im not really sure if i wanna be a leaner guy or just a massive beast

I looked big and felt strong but I couldn't do any cardio to save my life. I'd run a mile and feel like dying. Trying to change that now

In terms of true fitness its way more about cardio than the digits you can lift. Your heart can only take so much strain, so don't aim to become the next Ultimate Warrior.

A healthy heart is important, I'd recommend running/swimming over weights...but there's no reason why you can't do both and have "lean definition" [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
