Default Active Live acct? maybe it is and you dont know.

So apparently there is no offical word from SOE atm but it seems any accounts that were active in the last 2 years have been givin free activation atm. Its most likely to get a bite on the progression server.
Im not trying to advertise for them. I know how anti-SOE some of this community is but it might be worth checking out if only to remind you why you prefer p99 over SOE or as some folks have mentioned, as a means to help develop the project here.
Just trying to spread the info's.

Hmmm, looks like mine is active. It allows me to log into the patcher. You have to have an active account to patch these days.

It also means you can log into the Sony forums and post replies/create threads now. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

my mistake. the main reason for the post tho was because someone mentioned logging into live to help with the project. While i may not be an active player here anymore, i still want p99 to succeed and if this info helps.. cool.

I'll definitely try Fippy Darkpaw now when we've been given free playtime.

The current EQ Live is not worth it at all. The game is empty and soulless.

You should all go back to EQlive and let me farm kunark in peace before you inevitably return.

Thank You

It would appear most people's accounts are active see this thread. I downloaded the Launcher and the game is a 6.5 gig download. You're able to access the new Player Housing area as well. You can access the new area via a gate in the NW Corner of the Guild Hall.

I logged in yesterday and maybe I'll log into today, but I'm not sure if I'm going to start all over again. Project 1999 I believe meets a lot of our needs when it comes to our original experience with EQ.

Project 1999 has done an amazing job to fix/update EQ while providing a great playing environment. If I decide to play with any frequency I definitely remain here.
