How likely is a necromancer going to be able to achieve at least Solo Grandmaster? I just can't imagine any class without slow can really get up there soloing.

Plenty more difficult than for enchanter and shaman I'm sure, but I think it is doable without clickies also. Zanderr is scheduled to PL my necro some this weekend!

How far can Druids get on this list solo? Also curious if anyone has any videos of Druids soloing things.

I saw your PM but I've been lazy.

Two Druids are on the low end of this list. More or less what those involve is either root/rotting non-summoners which is most of the beginning tier. Or root-rotting and healing inbetween summons the lower-middle tiers. It's important to regen and DS yourself before these fights too. Cause that is the most mana efficient healing and damage you can feasible add to a fight.

Higher tier stuff can be done if an animal is charm able in zone. Mainly Kedge Keep / Chardok at the moment. With Velious, SG/WW/Kael will have solid charmed pets that I plan on testing out.

I think now the best a Druid could do would be Estrella charming a shark or Pirahna, Efreeti charming a bat. Maybe a Fear golem with a shiverback pet if you used some OP clickies like SoulFire.

I'm tempted to do some of these, but a lot of it involves doing the camp and waiting for the mob to spawn not knowing whether I can solo or not :/. Not all that attractive use of my time if the mob doesn't end up spawning. Especially since I have plenty of other things I want to do in game!

Can two necros just use chain FD/pet summon to take out any mobs (granted that they don't do more dps than it takes to cast summon pet)?

Example - I summon pet, FD and send pet on mob (pet will die but I get no agro after standing since I was never on mob's agro list).

As pet gets low life, another necro does the same thing, at which point I stand, cast pet summon and repeat (obviously not the most optimal method, but essentially 0 risk since necro never even gets on any agro list).

Does anyone have any particular suggestions for how the solo artist challenge should be updated for Velious?
