I bought this, along with the EverQuest Atlas: The Maps of Myrist about a year ago on eBay. I pull them out at least once a month just to look at them, even while I'm not playing EQ. They are probably the biggest reason I still play EQ to this day - I just get all nostalgic looking at them.
The Atlas is definitely the better buy of the two. The maps are fantastic, and the back-stories and lore you get from each zone is great. Half the reason why I love EQ so much is for the setting and "non-game" stuff that reinforces the great feel of the world.

I used to have a copy of that back in the day. Some of the advice in that thing is hilarious.

I had the Kunark Prima Guide when it was new. Lots of stuff in it was completely erroneous.

Although the information found in them is of little use, I also have fond memories of my strategy guide. I bought it for the maps and the spell info.. used to carry it to middle school every day and the three of us who played would huddle around and get our nerd on.
