Default Enchanter 5 remaining points - INT or STA?

Hey all, returning after a long time absent and starting an enchanter (switching from my bard because carpal tunnel). Playing HIE, agnostic, and putting 25 stat points into CHA. Where should the remaining 5 go? All of my reading suggests either INT or STA. I know it's only 5 points but hey. Cheers.

Honestly, I would put those last 5 points into STR.

STA doesn't amount to much hitpoints and you will be able to cap your INT.

STR, you will cap both your CHA and INT easly when geared right and with your self buffs. You so need the STR trust me... [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Recommending STR as well. STA gives negligible return and INT is easily capped with gear/buffs.

not always, I am usually always over weight since I went with INT instead of STR. I have the 50% and the 75% weight reduction bags on my character and my weight is always around 60/55 somehow..every now and then i'll make it down to 58/55 when I am not carrying money. If I have a STR buff then Im usually hitting 58/98. just depends on what all you need to carry, at low levels its fine but once you start getting your OT hammer, keys, etc it starts adding up.

Also, weight reduction bags do not affect the gear you are currently wearing.

^^ That is also something to think about when you start really gearing up, I know my gear is pretty much 90% of my weight.

The whole "you cap int and cha easily with buffs" thing isn't terribly accurate. It's basically advice for at 60 and if you are getting raid (or at least lots of nice solo/group/droppable) gear.

Especially without serious twinking and MOST ESPECIALLY while leveling up, you won't likely have both above 200 let alone at 255... especially if you want to wear any hp or resist gear, keep a goblin ring equipped instead of swapping out, and so on. You need stuff like epic, planar/thurg armor, nice droppable items, and self buffs at 55+ to cap out both. And even if you do own gear that can cap both, you probably will want to swap out int or cha or both for more hp and mr.

I'd be surprised for a chanter to be at the point where int and cha are both 255 with buffs and you've also got some semblance of hp, mp, resists short of having multiple TOV pieces.
