Dexterity
Has there been any proof that high Dexterity makes procs/critical hits happen more often? In adition does it make you miss less? I have an Arching ranger that is a blast to play and currently lvl 26. As I approach lvl 30 (backwards lol) should I go all out on strength or try to get above 200 dex (or close) as well? I do have a 30/37 bow. I will start fletching my own arrows soon too. Currently I'm at like 164 dex and 172 str or something close.

I know that I read Ivory's posts. My question is if Dex plays a role in how many times I can get a crit shot or not miss the mob I'm firing at.

Dex doesn't influence hit rate. It might on red, but red is a custom server. For more info, there was a guild around recently <Value of Dex> but I think they disbanded.

dex affects hit rate in only pvp, afaik. Supposedly also affects proc chance, crit chance, bard song fizzle rate, and rate you learn melee skills.

Wep skills and offense increase hit chance, which also increase attack power. Strength and other +attack items increase damage and attack power, but do not increase hit chance.
