It's an ideal and an honest concern, it's an honor system and more people should consider it honorable imo. To those saying "reroll or go solo to 60" you're missing the point, lol
The honor system doesn't work irl, what makes you think it will work here?

An artist honestly uses their brain more than most programmers do.

They get paid fucking small amounts of salaries or by a small amount per hour PLUS cannot draw in the art style they want to, they have to conform to a business' style of art.

To make matters even more unfair, programmers in comparison have to do things according to one style - the most efficient way possible for the company and thus ultimately themselves.

So how does this relate to EQ? You pick a class, just like a profession in real life because 'it's something you want to play/do', and you end up realizing that your class is horrible and can't reroll without a ton of work.

No amount of unionizing and complaining on public forums will ever change that people are inheritly greedy, and take the path of least resistance, even if it means fucking over other people in the process.

Is that a problem? When you do it, no. When someone else does it to you, yes.
See the problem with that? It works both ways and you commonly side with whatever favors you, instead of giving up a part of your time to help others.

And this isn't just an EQ problem, it's a problem with humanity - we might be the smartest animals on the planet but I'll be damned if we can someday make everything fair for everyone.

I think most of the camps are designed for 2-3 man groups. For example com temple duo has just enough mobs for shm/mnk duo. Add a 3rd class and there will be a wait before the temple repops.
yea but to be fair, thats claasssssic

Does no one remember the days of 4 full HHK basement groups? One in each room. Now that shit is classic.

Yea, but those people had fine steel weapons, maybe a polished granite tomahawk / dragoon dirk at best. Aggro was all over the place and dps was poor, draining healer mana.

4 mobs in six mins was all those groups could handle!

Duoing can often be funner than 6man grouping [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I remember leveling my cleric and full groups literally put me to sleep.. many times haha. Now an enc / cleric duo.. that's fun.

It's basically this.

At this point on the server everyone is so twinked out with gear, specifically melees that there just aren't enough mobs for even 3-4 people, let alone a full group. Mob HP wasn't designed for 36% haste items and epics on level 1 rogues/monks.

Back in the day groups were always full because you needed all hands on deck for every single mob.

Ya well the epic mob turn in would eat the rogue epic items if you weren't 50 during the era we're in

So

Ya they weren't tuned for that
