Anyone else kind of wish HBO would finish writing these books?

After the four year wait for book 6, it's starting to look like GRRM is gonna go out Robert Jordan style. I get the impression dementia has set in and he can't finish the books even if he lives long enough to do so. It's just like the last couple Wheel of Time books when Jordan kept exploring new bunny trails instead of wrapping the shit up.
