I got a daaawg

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] She's adorable. Her name is Akita and she's a three year old chihuahua / terrier mix. Thankfully, she looks more terrier than chihuahua. She's a pound puppy that was found as a stray. It seems as if she's already housetrained, which is pretty awesome. Although this photo was taken the night before Akita arrived, it still pretty much sums up my cats reaction. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

She's adorable! I am soooo an advocate for shelter/rescue adoptions. All I have to say is fix her fix her fix her fix herrrrrrr.
Was her name Akita before you got her? Interesting name since Akitas are a breed.

Awesome! Please train her well using positive reinforcement (treats for a properly performed command) and not negative punishment - and pleeeease don't ignore her. She will need attention throughout her life, not just a leash on a tree, which too many owners do these days.

cute dog...
name her what you want...he could have called her "Bandy" or something for short, lol the worms are prolly tapeworm segments; no big deal. just make sure you wash your hands well after handling her...the usual. vet will fix her right up. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
